Clean up Blair Pond for Malakoff Diggins Kids Fishing Day
Kids Fishing Day is fast approaching and we need your help at both the Cleanup Day at Blair pond May 9th.

Meet at 8:00AM at the CVS parking lot at Brunswick and Sutton Way in Grass Valley (far end of lot by Sutton Way)
We will Carpool up to Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park. (see Day Use Fee below)
This GCFF annual event starts with the Blair Pond cleanup, the site of the event. We head out to the pond armed with our weed eaters, loppers, rakes, work gloves, wheel barrels and anything that will help clean up the shoreline.
We will provide lunch.
May 9th is also the day of the fish plant, which is fun to watch.
We also need help on the day of the event, May 12th .
This GCFF sponsored yearly event enables about 50 kids
and their family to have a free day of fishing for

What to bring:
- work gloves
- sturdy shoes/boots
- weed eaters
- wheel barrels
- anything that will help clean up the shoreline
- drinking water (it may be warm)
Malakoff Day Use Fee: Parking fees: $5 per vehicle from September 5-May 25, 2018. Discounts are available for seniors and veterans. Annual day use pass accepted. Purchase online at www.parks.ca.gov or purchase your pass at Malakoff when the visitors center is open.
