About The Event
Dry Fly Presentation Casting on the grass
This clinic is for the intermediate fly fisher that wants to advance their dry fly presentation skills.
The GCFF Mentors will teach you:
- what a presentation cast looks like
- advanced dry fly presentation techniques.
- how to make a Reach Cast, a Parachute Cast, a Wiggle Cast, a Reach Wiggle Cast, and others
- the concept of “Casting Around the Clock” which will help you decide which presentation cast is best for different presentation angles for delivering your fly to a rising trout.
For those of our members that attended the “Advancing Your Skills Night” where
we explained the “5 Essentials of a Good Cast” this will be a great chance to try the
essentials out. We will review the 5 Essentials prior to the casting session.
The people that know how to use presentation casts catch the most fish.
