About The Event
Description of Event: This is a walk and wade trip, bring your waders, boots, wading staff, rain jackets etc...
We will be fishing in small groups with a mentor in charge, who can help get you started.
You must have a current 2019 fishing license and a filled out STEELHEAD REPORT CARD.
Bring your own beverages and lunch.
Everyone will meet-up and car pool from Flour Garden Parking Lot, at Sutton and Brunswick

Fish For (species): Steelhead
Fishing Strategy: We will be indicator fishing with nymphs and egg patterns, if you have a switch rod or spey
rod that you would like to use bring it. We will try to have someone to help you out if you’re new to spey
casting. The river has many different current areas where larger rods would be helpful.
Rods: 6wt to 8wt. Single or spey.
Lines: floating, indicator lines or sink tips if you would like to swing flies
Leaders: 1x 2x
Tippet: 2x or 3x
Flies: Hare's ear green body, green copper johns, caddis patters, all colors of egg patterns
