Description of Event: Fish from ladders, Float Tubes or from shore. We plan to stay three nights: April 17, 18, 19.

Fish For (species): Lahontan Trout
Fishing Strategy: Fish from laddrs, float tubes or from shore. Indicator fishing or stripping streamers.
• Rods: 6-8 weight
• Lines: sinking (full or medium, Floating line w/indicator)
• Leaders: 7 ½ ft 3x or 4 x, at least 6 lb. test
• Tippet: Match to leader
• Flies: Black wooly bugger, beadhead with flash; tan, white or black #10 or #8 foam beetle, prince
nymphs 12-16, FB Pheasant Tail, Matuka, Zebra midges #10-16.
• Gear: Waders, Float tube, Pontoon Boat, Fins, Big net, Personal Flotation device, polarized sunglasses, warm gloves, anchor.
What participants need to know: You will need to secure a tribal permit available on line or pay at Crosby’s.
Weather: cool most mornings, and warm by noon. Pack a lunch and drinks, or a meal can be had at the lodge. Fishing from the shore is possible. If you choose to use a ladder the Nets and Pelican are close and good areas.
