Proof of Covid-19 vaccination completed over 2 weeks prior to event is required. If not previously shown will be required when meeting at Flour Garden, Sutton Way, Grass Valley.  

Fishout will be at Lower Scotts Flat Lake but carpooling is required due to limited parking. We will meet in the CVS flower garden parking lot out near the street at 7 AM so we can carpool to the lake. Parking at the lake is limited. Also the road is rough so bring a high clearance vehicle if you’re going to offer rides to anyone.

Fish for:

Planted rainbows and browns as well as large holdover browns.

Fishing Strategy:

Use still water techniques in very clear and relatively shallow water, i.e. long fluoro leaders and light tippets.

This is a hidden small reservior within a one-half-hour drive of Grass Valley. Becomes Deer Creek below reservoir, No potable water is available, no bathrooms. Parking is tight.
